Visual Inference On Human Facial Expression On Homogeneous Distributed Systems

Facial expression recognition has different applications in the real world. We present a method to identify facial expressions taken from camera and build a parallel facial expression recognition system. A statistical technique such as Principal Component Analysis is used for dimensionality reduction and recognition and widely used for facial feature extraction and recognition. To test and evaluates their performance, experiments are performed using real database .Client /Server technique is used to reduce the processing time of each frames from the video. The five principal emotions to be recognized are: Happy, Sad, Anger, and Disgust, along with Neutral. Keywords— Facial Expressions, Recognition rate, Euclidian Distance, Client/Server technique.
